The Airporter Bus service goes to most of the major hotels in Vancouver and also to the Bus Depot and Train station in downtown Vancouver and the Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal. Tickets are available on the coach or from the Airporter Bus desk in the Airport. They cost about $12-15 for a one way ticket for an adult with a return ticket costing about 50% more. Reductions are available for Seniors and children, and there are also family tickets too.
There are a number of bus routes from the Airport Bus Station to the center of Vancouver downtown and these leave at regular intervals. The main routes to Downtown Vancouver are the 98 B line bus and the No 496 bus. You need to have the exact change for your ticket on the bus or you can get tickets in the 7-11 shop in the Terminal building.
Check with your hotel to see if they offer a shuttle to and from the airport for your convenience. You can call a taxi or a limo to get you from the airport to your next destination if need be.
You can also rent a car at the airport for your convenience. Car rental desks are in the Arrivals part of the Terminal Building. This will save you time in returning the rental car when you’re planning to leave Vancouver.
